It’s not a brush. It’s not a flat iron. It’s not a curling iron. It’s the InStyler® rotating hot iron!
This rotating hot iron is a totally new styling and straightening tool unlike any hair styling product ever invented!
The secret to the InStyler® iron lies in its rotating heated polishing cylinder, along with four rows of precision-aligned bristles.
InStyler – How it Works
Here’s how it works: when you run the InStyler® rotating hot iron through your hair, the first set of bristles gently sort and separate your hair strands. Then the rotating heated polishing cylinder gently glides over your hair, smoothly polishing, straightening, and styling each strand. Finally, the second set of bristles puts the finishing touch on your hair, leaving you with shiny, silky, hair! It’s truly amazing!
And the best part is, because of the InStyler® rotating hot iron’s patented design, your hair won’t get smashed and baked by the super-intense heat of a flat iron or other “hot” tools. In fact, the InStyler® rotating hot iron uses less heat than traditional hot tools, and delivers better results. How? Because the InStyler® rotating hot iron’s gentle heat in conjunction with the rotating motion of the polishing cylinder literally polishes your hair strands individually so it doesn’t need extreme heat to get amazing results.
Your hair will be shinier, bouncier and full of lift and life!
InStyler – Rotating Hot Iron
Plus, the InStyler® rotating hot iron does so much more than any styling tool out there. Get lift and fullness – right from the root! Get a sexy flip in seconds. Straighten even the toughest, most coarse hair – and still get fullness and style without the stick-straight “flatness” of a flat iron. Do a full style in 8 minutes… and change it again in two minutes! Wrap your hair around the rotating polishing cylinder – and get an amazing curl that lasts all day!
If you can hold it, you can do it with the InStyler® rotating hot iron!

Reviews for the Maxiglide Xpress:
I’ve read countless reviews on the Maxiglide Xpress and for the most part people have been saying a lot of good things about this straightener as it has a rating of 4 out of 5 stars, which says something, but being my skeptical self I had to dig further to see if the negative comments people were making regarding the Maxiglide were indeed justified or if they were just venting for the sake of venting!
Anyway, one reviewer said that she absolutely loved her Maxiglide, had given it a 5 star rating and had owned it since 2008. However, she ended up concluding that the Maxiglide was responsible for damaging and thinning out her hair.
She also stated that she only used the unit 6 TIMES a year. Well, I don’t know about you but for me this sounds a little bit irrational.
I mean, how can you make such a conclusion based on so little use?
Granted, when you use any hot appliance on your hair you need to use a Heat Protectant Spray as well as the proper heat settings to make sure you don’t damage your hair but to say that the Maxiglide did this is a little premature especially when you consider other factors.
1) If your hair has been chemically treated, there is a good chance it could also be over processed. Many times inexperienced stylists may leave the chemical relaxer or dye on your hair a bit too long, which is damaging to your hair and can lead to split ends, breakage and even thinning.
If this is you, I recommend deep conditioning your hair before you start using the Maxiglide Xpress or any other hot appliance.
2) If you pin your hair back a lot, wear it in a pony tail or bun this can lead to thinning of your hair due to the stress placed on the root.
3) Excessive Blow drying can also dry out the hair follicle and be damaging.
Another reviewer said that her Maxiglide stopped working after 6 months, so she returned it and got a new one. She was upset that she had to pay $10 for shipping and handling. Okay, in this case I agree.
The good part is that the Maxiglide Xpress comes with a 2 year warranty, but the bad part is paying for shipping should anything happen. The thing is, this is not exclusive to Maxiglide. It really can happen to any appliance no matter how good it is but the important thing here is to make sure you buy from a reputable retailer.
Best Place to Buy the Maxiglide Xpress?
There are many places you can buy the Maxiglide Xpress, some are reputable and some are complete frauds. This is one reason I recommend Amazon because they are a name that can be trusted and they usually have the best prices considering many other companies list their products there and compete against one another.
You can get the Maxiglide as part of a whole set and pay $20 extra or simply buy the flat iron separately and pay $20 less.

CHI Turbo Microchip Ceramic Hairstyling Iron 1″ - Chi flat iron on sale “I was suspect of the need for “ceramic ions” and “far infrared technology”, but this iron was highly recommended by salon personnel, so I decided to dish out the money and try it. You don’t need to believe the hype to realize that this is a top quality product. This was a case of “you get what you pay for”! It is lightweight and ergonomic, heats up almost immediately, has a slider bar for varying heat from 176-356F (80-180C), and velvety felt that protects you from burns (also allows me to get closer to my ears and scalp without getting burned). The latter feature is worth the money to me alone, but I got the Chi flat iron on sale so hopefully it will last for years of top-notch straightening. The ceramic feels much gentler to my hair (I have baby fine hair very prone to breakage). Two other things to keep in mind when choosing a straightener: Chi flat iron on sale
1) not all ceramic is created equal – there are solid ceramic plates or plates COATED with ceramic that are cheaper…and peel off…
2) smaller size is better and more maneuverable

Searching to get the best deal on a Babyliss Flat Iron? I have done a lot of research online into these straighteners when I was buying one for my personal use.
Below I have compiled all the specific details about the Babyliss flat iron straightener that you really need to know, to help you choose the best flat iron for your needs.
If you’re in a rush and just want to know where the best place is to purchase one, then you’ll find that Amazon has some of the lowest prices by far. In fact, if you’ve searched in salons or beauty supply stores and compared prices, you will definitely notice the savings.
Flat irons are great because they give your hair the look and feel like you just stepped out of the salon without the salon price tag, but how do you know which one is best for you?
I had heard many good things about the Babyliss flat iron, since a friend of mine bought one a couple of years ago and loved it and also my hair stylist used a Babyliss flat iron in her salon and seemed to be very satisfied. So based on the positive feedback, I began my research.
The first thing I had to consider is what model of Babyliss flat iron I wanted to purchase and I quickly realized that the most popular models have been from the Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium line.
Nano Titanium plates : Babyliss Flat Iron
The Babyliss flat iron uses Nano Titanium plates. What this means is that small particles of Titanium are imbedded into the plates to distribute heat evenly to your hair while boosting the output of negative ions . Titanium is good from a time aspect, as cheaper units that use aluminum take longer to style your hair and can be more damaging.
Built-in ionic generator: Babyliss Flat Iron
Hair follicles that are damaged have open pores that cause moisture to escape enough that the hair becomes dry and brittle, especially at the ends. This is where ionic technology comes into play. Damaged hair is positively charged through static electricity and Ions are negatively charged. So, when the hair follicle and the ions meet there is an instant “magnetic” attraction. The ions help to close the hair follicle and trap the natural moisture inside to give your hair that nice, sexy, sleek look.
Recessed LED temperature controls : Babyliss Flat Iron
The Babyliss flat iron Nano Titanium line of hair straighteners all include recessed LED temperature controls. An LED display is good because it helps you adjust the heat settings more accurately to your hair type. Since the top of the range is 450 fahrenheit, you definitely want to be able to test different heat levels to find out which temperature is the most ideal for your hair, to prevent you from frying it!
Of course, using a heat protectant spray is also recommended to give you a little more flexibility, especially when you are trying to figure out your ideal settings.
Swivel power cord: Babyliss Flat Iron
Every Babyliss flat iron comes with a 9-foot swivel power cord. This may not seem that important, but if you are like me and countless others that have owned hair appliances without this feature, you will definitely appreciate this. No more tangled cords!
Slim design:Babyliss Flat Iron
Many of the Babyliss flat irons are designed to be extra slim. They accomplished this by extending the length of the plates, instead of increasing their width. What this means is that you can:
- straighten the maximum amount of hair in the shortest amount of time
- have greater flexibility when styling your hair as many women use it to curl their hair
- handle the unit with greater ease as wider units tend to be more awkward to use
Heat Resistant Handles: Babyliss Flat Iron
If you use a flat iron for extended periods of time, especially at its hottest setting, you will appreciate the fact that the handle or exterior casing of the Babyliss flat iron is made out of a special substance known as Ryton. This shields your hand from a good portion of the heat that is generated to make handling of the unit more comfortable.
Warranty
This to me is one of the greatest selling features of the Babyliss flat iron…the 4-year warranty. I don’t know about you, but 4 years is the most I have seen for almost anything and it speaks of just how confident Babyliss are in their product.
Many flat irons including the high-end straighteners only come with a 1-2 year warranty at the maximum.
Although I and many others think the Babyliss flat iron is great, there were a few complaints that some people were making when I was doing my research so I think it’s fair to share them here.
One person said that she “completely burnt her hair” even with a protectant. One thing you will notice when you are reading reviews for ANY flat iron is that there is usually one or two people that make this same claim. So, for what it’s worth, I would have to say it was user error. She didn’t know how to use it properly and probably had the temperature set too high for her hair texture. That is why when using a new flat iron, it is wise to set it at its lowest temperature and work your way up until you can determine the “ideal” setting for your hair.
Another person said that her iron only lasted a few months before it stopped working. This can be irritating when it happens, but unfortunately it does happen. Fortunately you have a 4-year warranty to back you up if such an event takes place.
Best Place to Buya Babyliss Flat Iron
I came across varying prices for the Babyliss flat iron when I was looking for the best deals. Some sites had them for as much as $160, while others had them for as low as $89. The main thing you need to look out for when purchasing a flat iron, is that they are produced with genuine parts and aren’t some knock-off. This is one of the reason’s I recommend amazon because they guarantee authenticity, their prices are heavily discounted and they also have free shipping .
